Role Description
We are seeking a skilled SAP Consultant with expertise in Quality Management (QM) and Materials Management (MM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP S/4HANA, a deep understanding of business processes, and hands-on experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP QM and MM modules. The role involves collaborating with business users, ensuring system efficiency, driving process improvements, and supporting daily operations.
Role Purpose
The SAP Consultant – QM & MM at PCBL Chemical Limited will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA solutions for Quality Management and Materials Management. This role ensures efficient procurement, inventory control, and quality inspection processes while integrating seamlessly with other SAP modules. The consultant will collaborate with business users, troubleshoot system issues, drive process improvements, and provide operational support and training to enhance overall efficiency and compliance. Through continuous optimization, they will contribute to streamlined workflows and business excellence.
Key Result Areas
SAP Implementation & Support:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP QM & MM modules aligned with business needs.
- Provide end-to-end support for SAP MM and QM processes, including procurement, inventory management, quality inspections, batch management, and vendor management.
- Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and process automation within QM and MM functions
Business Process Optimization:
- Work closely with business teams to understand and streamline procurement, inventory, and quality management workflows.
- Analyze and document existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend best practices in SAP S/4HANA.
- Ensure seamless integration of QM & MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, WM).
User Support & Training:
- Provide daily operational support for SAP users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system functionality.
- Conduct user training sessions, create documentation, and guide teams on SAP best practices.
Testing & Compliance:
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing for SAP changes and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality regulations, and company policies related to materials and quality management.

Experience
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP MM & QM, with at least 2 years in SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience in at least one SAP implementation and one support project.
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of SAP QM & MM (inspection planning, batch management, procurement, inventory, vendor evaluation).
- Strong configuration and integration experience with other SAP modules (PP, SD, WM).
- Hands-on experience with master data management, MRP, and stock valuation.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
