Role Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP Consultant specializing in Plant Maintenance (PM) and Production Planning (PP) to support our SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. The role requires strong expertise in preventive & corrective maintenance, production planning, capacity scheduling, and shop floor execution. The candidate will work closely with business teams to optimize maintenance and production workflows, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.
Role Purpose
The SAP Consultant – PM & PP will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and supporting SAP S/4HANA solutions for Plant Maintenance and Production Planning. This role ensures efficient maintenance operations, production scheduling, and resource utilization while integrating seamlessly with other SAP modules. The consultant will work closely with business teams to enhance workflows, troubleshoot system issues, and implement best practices for improved operational efficiency and compliance. Through continuous innovation, they will contribute to streamlined processes and business excellence.
Key Result Areas
SAP PM Implementation & Support:
- Configure SAP PM for maintenance, work orders, and spare parts.
- Optimize maintenance plans, calibration, and notifications.
- Integrate PM with MM (spares), FI (costs), and HR (workforce).
- Enable measurement readings, warranty, and IoT predictive maintenance.
SAP PP Implementation & Support:
- Configure PP for demand planning, MRP, and production execution.
- Enhance BOM, Work Centers, Routing, and Capacity Planning.
- Improve scheduling, reduce downtime, and optimize resources.
- Integrate PP with QM (quality checks), MM (materials), and SD (orders).
Business Process Optimization:
- Analyze workflows, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
- Define preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
- Improve reporting, maintenance KPIs, and production tracking.
Testing & Compliance:
- Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, ISO, and quality standards.

Experience
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP PM & PP, with at least 2 years in SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience in at least one SAP implementation and one support project.
Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of SAP PM & PP functionalities, including maintenance strategies, production planning, scheduling, and MRP execution.
- Strong configuration and integration experience with SAP MM, QM, FI, and SD.
- Expertise in shop floor control, machine maintenance tracking, and predictive maintenance solutions.
- Knowledge of capacity planning, cost analysis, and maintenance budgeting.
