Role Purpose

To run and coordinate the field operation in shift to achieve targeted shift production ensuring required quality and optimizing process parameters w.r.t SOC to maximize yield performance.

Implementation of safety and environmental initiatives Identify and mitigate hazards; report near misses and accidents.
Conduct safety talks, ensure PPE compliance, attend and deliver training.

Reduction in an unsafe act
Coordination of entire shift operation activities (field) to ensure targeted line-wise shift production following the production and packing planning Execute scheduled shift tasks (changeovers, checks, cleaning, prep).
Prepare chemicals (KNO3, Molasses) as per grade.
Monitor equipment health via inspections.
Organize equipment and operations per grade requirements.

Quality Control Filling up of equipment checklist/register on a routine basis
Ensuring routine abnormalities are identified and reported in SAP
Coordination engineering team on abnormalities for timely execution of job
Equipment isolation
Ensuring schedule change over of equipment
Compliance to schedule operation activities in the shift
Loss of production during shift
Nos of abnormality identified and attended through the engg team.
Zero Breakdown
Cost control by avoiding unplanned/last Minute purchases
Equipment monitoring and coordination with the engineering team Ensure routine equipment checklists are filled, abnormalities reported in SAP, and coordinated with Engineering for timely resolution. Oversee equipment isolation, scheduled changeovers, and shift activity compliance. Loss of production during shift
Nos of abnormality identified and attended through the engg team.
Zero Breakdown
Cost control by avoiding unplanned/last Minute purchases
Cost Reduction Initiatives Target zero OT with efficient planning.
Extend filter cloth life by maintaining pressures and dryer use.
Reduce consumables by ensuring proper nozzle pressure, oil flow, and reusing parts.
Follow SOPs for KNO3/molasses to optimize chemicals.
Maintain SOC to boost yield and act on DCS feedback.
Prevent/reprocess spillages and ensure proper bag filter pressure.
Recycle wastewater and optimize equipment use.

Implementation of Manufacturing Excellence initiatives Identify operational bottlenecks and housekeeping issues, address root causes, and maximize reporting of LEs, Kaizens, and OPLs. Ensure visual housekeeping, zero waste, zero defects, and zero breakdowns. Maintain COP within budget while improving quality and efficiency.

2.Reactor Spares (Nozzles, Bends, Hoses, Elbow, Burner Pipe, KNO3, Phosphate) Handling Magnet Cleaning, Kno3 & Molasses pump hose changing, Boiler Blowdown, Valve Greasing and lubrication of rail.
3.Off-spec tank level, Elevator & Screw Cleaning & Observation, Conveying line & Cone Hammering, VBC inlet manhole cleaning, Gauge cleaning, Shut down the job.
